With the arrest of Vemula Satish, Andhra police have unearthed the major conspiracy behind the attack on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday April 18, 2024.
Andhra police doing their probe into the case homed in on Vemula Satish after questing around 12 eyewitnesses and analysing the numerous videos of attack captured by the witness. Further probe revealed that Vemula Satish’s father Vemula Durga Rao is follower of TDP party and follower of Bonda Umamaheswara Rao prominent TDP leader and former MLA of Vijayawada central constituency.
Andhra police sent the accused Vemula Satish to judicial custody and further investigation is underway to gather the evidence. Following a complaint from Vellampalli Srinivasa Rao, Vijayawada West MLA that Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy attacked with a stone which left Reddy and Rao with bleeding injuries, Andhra police have booked an attempt to murder case and are investigating it.
