The Supreme court is slated to hear the case of Note for Vote tomorrow on April 17, 2024. Meanwhile, YSR Congress MLA Alla Ramakrishna filed the petition to include Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu as an accused in the Note for Vote case. In his petition, Ramakrishna Reddy submitted that the name of the TD leader Naidu was repeatedly mentioned in the charge sheet filed by Telangana ACB special court and therefore his name must be included in this case.
It is pertinent to note that the present Chief Minister of Telangana Revanth Reddy is accused in the vote for note case. He was redhandly caught by ACB while offering a bribe of Rs. 50 Lakhs to Telangana MLA Elvis Stephenson to vote in favour of the Telugu Desam Party during the 2015 elections to the Telangana Legislative Council.
