The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was attacked by an unknown person through stone pelting, injuring his left eye on Saturday. In this context, while several top leaders including the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister of others states are condemning this attack, TDP leader Nara Lokesh made an insensitive remark on Jagan.
Lokesh in a post that he made on X, left satirical comments on and indirectly implied that the stone attack was planned by Jagan himself. And he has drawn parallels with the 2019 Kodi Kathi attack.
Meanwhile, giving a counter, YSRCP social media coordinator, Sajjala Bhargava Reddy said, “I urge everybody to take note of this. The ugliness, bitterness and lack of humanity it takes to joke about a matter where my leader and the incumbent Chief Minister was injured in a public meeting by a stone targeted at his eye. The tweet below exposes the true colors of TDP, Chandrababu, Lokesh, and those associated with them.”
