Election Commission send notices to Pawan Kalyan over remarks on Jagan

The Election Commission of India(ECI) sent notice to Jana Sena Chief and actor Pawan Kalyan over his remarks on Chief Minister Y S Jagan in election campaigning. He was asked by the Election Commission to give a response to them in 48 hours.

Pawan Kalyan in a public meeting during his political campaigning called Jagan, a land grabber, scamstar, sand and liquor emperor after which YCP leaders approached the Election commission over violation of model code of conduct.

The Election Commission carefully considered and observed the remarks, then notified Pawan Kalyan. Earlier TDP leaders, Chandrababu Naidu, Acchaymnayudu, and Ayyannaptrudu, among others, have also received EC notices.
