The other day, Janasena veteran Pothina Mahesh left his party after he was rejected the Vijayawada West MLA ticket at the last minute as Pawan sacrificed it to Sujana Chowdary.
Shortly after leaving JSP, Pothina commented on Pawan Kalyan and challenged him to carry out the housewarming ceremony of his new property in Chebrolu, Pithapuram in the presence of his wife Anna.
However, Pawan Kalyan didn't do anything as such as he came to Pithapuram and carried out the housewarming ceremony along with TDP leader SVSN Varma. This has given space for YCP leaders to comment against Pawan for failing at the challenge thrown by Pothina Mahesh to attend the ceremony along with his wife.
But we must also note that this is a highly personal choice of Pawan Kalyan and he is bound to act at will. But at the same time, it is common in the Hindu community for a wife and husband to take part in the housewarming ceremony together.
