Former Minister, Perni Venkataramaiah (Nani) has questioned the opposition on their involvement in withholding of volunteers in pension distribution. Perni Nani called out the Citizen Forum for Democracy, the organization that has put up cases on the volunteer system.
“Pension money was being distributed to everyone on time through volunteers. But, the opposition is afraid that love and respect for Jagan would increase in the public, hence they are obstructing the flow of pension,” said Perni Nani.
He further alleged that the Citizen forum for Democracy is a binami organisation for TDP and BJP parties. And added that it formed only before elections and said that it consists of members like Bhavani Prasad, Nimmagadda Ramesh, Lakshman Reddy, among others, who are very close associates of Chandrababu Naidu. They are going to all the top courts and hiring the costliest lawyer, Kapil Sibal, to stop pensions through the volunteer system. They are intentionally doing this,” said Nani.
