The suspense over the Mylavaram ticket has been finally unveiled. In its third list, the opposition Telugu Desam Party has confirmed the Mylavaram constituency ticket to Vasantha Krishna Prasad by ignoring its senior leader Devineni Umamaheshwara Rao. Though this was an expected move from TDP, there is a lot of disappointment and dissent among the TDP cadre of Uma.
It is known that Vasantha Krishna Prasad is a YSRCP defector, who joined TDP. And he was given prominence over its own party leader, Uma Maheshwara Rao. It doesn't seem to be going well among the Mylavaram TDP cadre. There was also opposition from the cadre when Vasantha Krishna Prasad joined the TDP.
It is also speculated that this could become a potential end card for Devineni Uma’s political career. Now, one has to wait and see what Devineni chooses to carve his path ahead.
