TDP-JSP-BJP Alliance: What Does It Mean For Jagan?

It looks certain that the Telugu Desam Party an Janasena are anyway forming an alliance with BJP in the context of the coming elections in AP.

Now that the alliance is nearly confirmed, this brings us to the question, what does this alliance mean for Jagan.

Firstly, BJP's vote share in AP is any way negligible. The vote share of the party is 0.84% in 2019 which is much lesser than the NOTA vote share.

Then there is the natural aversion with the alliance. Incidentally, four years ago, Chandrababu was abusing BJP and its bigwigs, Amit Shah an Narendra Modi. Pawan Kalyan was verbally assaulting both BJP and TDP, especially Chandrababu and Lokesh. Amit Shah said they will never join hands with TDP in the future. Now, three of these entities are working together in the alliance.

People will be aware of the aspects of the alliance and the natural aversion for them for having abused each other over the last five years and all of a sudden forming alliance now will be a factor.

Adding to that, the vote transfer between these parties is not going to be very easy with JSP and BJP having zero electioneering skills. At the same time, YSR Congress is super aggressive with its electioneering process. So it will anyway start as the natural favorite.
