According to recent reports, the Andhra Pradesh faction of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has cited Chandrababu Naidu as a major factor hindering the party's growth in the state. Somu Veerraju, the President of the BJP in Andhra Pradesh, reportedly wrote to the party leadership in Delhi about the situation in the state and placed the blame on Naidu for the party's struggles despite its best efforts.

Veerraju claimed that he had been doing everything in his power to strengthen and advance the party, but Naidu was impeding progress and creating obstacles. He cited the defection of former AP BJP chief Kanna Lakshminarayana and several other leaders to the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) as evidence of Naidu's efforts to lure party members away.

The alleged letter has caused a stir in political circles, as the BJP's criticism of Naidu and the TDP is unusual given the party's recent alignment with the ruling YSRCP.
