Whether the legal approvals will come or not, it appears that chief minister Y S Jagan is standing by his statement that Vizag will become the executive capital for Andhra Pradesh and works are happening briskly to come up with the camp office in the city.
It is heard that Jagan has fixed March 22nd as the Muhurtham date for starting the operations and there are no deviations on that front. Presently, the office was to come up at the Rushikonda hills but many say they will not be able to meet the deadline.
Alternatively, works are progressing briskly at the Vizag-Bheemili beach road for the CM's residence and officials are now mulling the thought of constructing a camp office adjacent to the residence till the Rushikonda one gets completed. Of course, the Supreme Court is yet to come up with a favourable verdict on this one so let us see how things shape up.
