The BJP leadership always proclaims that it is Telangana where they will come to power next and express their deep love for the people and the state. They claim that Telangana should naturally fall into BJP's kitty sooner or later.
All said and done, one is left wondering whether this special love will be seen in the form of funds, which, unfortunately, is never the case. In the latest Union Budget, there are only routine allocations for AIIMS and centrally administered institutions.
However, for the state of Telangana there is hardly any special allocation despite knowing that they are trying to win here. But in comparison, there have been many allocations given for Karnataka, including for certain irrigation projects. The BRS has alleged that this is a clear indication of step motherly treatment.
