Message from President Janardhan Pannela:
Telangana Community Inc started more than 15 years ago in atlanta. The core objective of the organization is to build a social platform for all the non resident Telanganites,
living in Atlanta, across the united States and around the Globe, to preserve, and to promote the heritage & culture of Telangana in addition to supporting the socio-economic development of Telangana region.
Regarding my Journey ith TCT, In 2012 I was introduced to TCI as a folk signer and during thatt time I have performed and participated in all events fo TCI. In the year 2015 TCI was replaced as a 11Greater Atlanta Telangana Society|| now we refer as GATeS organization. In the year 2019 GATeS board invited me to serve as a Board of Director/Sports Secretary. In 2020, I served as a Treasurer, 2021 I served as Secretary, 2022 I served as a Vice-President and then in recent board meeting 2022 Board has unanimously elected me as a President of the GATeS for the year 2023.
During my journey with TCI and GATeS many people supported and guided me to reach this stage and I''m especially grateful to GATeS/TCI founding members, former presidents, chairmans, and board of directors, current executive members, board of difectors, chairs, co-chairs, GATeS members and dedicated volunteers. With everyone's support and blessings I am sure we can reach new heights.
GATeS has been doing the Telangana cltural programs and servic programs in Atlanta and also service programs back home in Telangana. It is so overwhelming to see many people are taking initiative to take part in GATeS organization. I wish you and your family a very Happy and prosperous New Year 2023.
