Georgia MBA student from India killed by a homeless drug addict

An Indian national named Vivek Saini, who is an MBA student studying in Georgia in the US, has been killed by an alleged drug addict. Shockingly, the perpetrator was receiving help from a generous Vivek because he was homeless. Vivek gave the perpetrator, identified as one Julian Faulkner, shelter at his place. But when Vivek decided to stop the generosity, Faulkner turned violent and decided to stab him to death.

The US authorities have arrested the accused. The Indian Consulate got in touch with the victim's family immediately after the incident. Whatever consular assistance is required as per protocol has been offered. The deceased person's mortal remains have been sent back to India. "We are deeply anguished by the terrifying, brutal, and heinous incident that led to the death of an Indian national/student Mr Vivek Saini and condemn the attack in the strongest terms," wrote the Consulate General of India in Atlanta.

Several social media users have reacted to the incident with dismay. "Vivek Saini has given shelter to this drug-addict homeless guy at the store where he was working part-time in the USA. The MBA student Saini once refused to fulfill his ask, and the psycho hit him 50 times with the hammer. The dream America, shattering bit by bit every day," wrote The Hawk Eye, commenting on the incident.
