TAMA promotes rare Arts from Telugu land, platforms hundreds of talented artists

Since its inception in 1981, the Telugu Association of Metro Atlanta (TAMA) has launched several initiatives to promote the Telugu culture, arts, traditions, language and literature. This way, it has platformed genuine talents for the past 42 years. Even during the pandemic, when social contact was discouraged, the endeavour continued. And, of late, the support has only been increased.

This Thanksgiving and holiday season in America, four organizations came together for a variety of ancient Arts through online TAMA Facebook, on these dates: December 7, 14, and 21. The same was part of the TAMA Giving - Thursday Series.

More than 100 artists and their families have benefited from these programs, which were sponsored by Sri. T. R Reddy. The programs were held with the cooperation of national organizations, namely, TANA, NATA, ATA, and TTA. Besides, the prominent association MAITRI also joined the program.

TAMA's leadership surged ahead with strong determination and dedication to serve the artists and art forms. In tune with the practice established by the previous years' leadership, TAMA conducted 36 programs this year in a way that all age groups get a blockbuster representation.

President SaiRam Karumanchi thanked and expressed gratitude to the 4 main pillars - people, sponsors, volunteers and the TAMA team for their support, hard work and smart work throughout the year. He requested them to cooperate and participate in 2024 as well.
