Mobile tracking app helps Indian-American mom track her daughter’s corpse

Technology has been of great use of late, especially in the era we are living in. Very recently, a man was saved from a heart attack as his Apple watch warned him of a heart attack ahead of actually being attacked.

Today, another incident took place in America. Although not very happy news, a missing girl was discovered dead with the help of cell phone monitoring software.

A 16-year-old Indian-American named Siri Reddy went missing on May 4. Her mother used a phone monitoring system installed in her daughter’s phone to lead her to the base of a cliff in Texas.

Life-saving procedures were attempted on Reddy, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

"At this time, it is unknown why (Reddy) was at the location," San Antonio police stated, adding that she died from her injuries after falling from the cliff.

According to the school she went to, Keystone School, Siri is an award-winning student. The police there are still investigating the case and trying to find leads as to why and how she reached the cliff.
