A 30-year-old NRI residing in America who went missing on April 9, found dead in a lake in Maryland.
A software engineer by profession, the deceased, Ankit Bagai, was put on life-saving medicines.
According to reports, locals called the Montgomery Police and informed them about a body spotted in Lake Churchill on Tuesday. Upon investigation , the police identied the body as Ankil Bagai.

According to a press communique, "the body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and identified as that of Bagai of Germantown," adding that there was no indication of wrongdoing.

Bagai reportedly left a medical institution in Germantown, Maryland, on foot, and his family claims he was last seen around the 12000 block of Panthers Ridge Drive.

After the deceased went missing, Bagai’s family had also announced a reward of $5,000 for anyone who provided any leads. A facebook page was also started to locate him, however, all efforts by friends and family went in vain.

His friends remembered Bagai as an avid golfer who loved Tiger Woods, an easy going, passionate, and loving son, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, relative, and friend.
His final rites will be performed at Fairfax, Virginia.
