The wife of a Microsoft software developer, Soujanya Ramamurthy, has been found dead under mysterious circumstances near Lake Sammamish in Washington. The 30-year-old Indian national went missing on February 25, and her body was discovered the following day after a massive search by the police.

Last seen near the Park Marymoor Bell Apartments in Redmond, which is located approximately eight miles from Seattle, Soujanya's death is being treated as suspicious by law enforcement officials. While police are yet to ascertain how the tragedy occurred, multiple media reports suggest that Soujanya was hit several times on the head with an object similar to a hammer.

Soujanya's husband, Mudambi S. Srivatsa, a software developer at Microsoft, stated that his wife had big dreams and wanted to provide the best for her family. He is cooperating with the authorities in their ongoing investigation into her death. The Indian community in the United States has launched a search campaign to find Soujanya since the day she went missing. Her missing posters were widely circulated across social media platforms.
