Last year all of Rakul Preeth Singh’s films in Bollywood didn’t fetch any good hits for her, despite theatrical or OTT releases. She was seen in films like Attack, Kut Putli, Doctor G, Thank God and Runway 34. Now she is coming up with a new film called ‘Chhatriwali’.
In this film she plays a role where she is concerned about the lack of sex education in the current society and she imparts it to students. The trailer looks impressive and the film is releasing directly on OTT on January 20th.
However, this film has to succeed to bring some mileage for her career in Hindi industry and currently she has no big projects on hand in Telugu as well. She now has good hopes on Bharatiyudu 2, which may be released this year or in 2024.
