There has been uncertainty surrounding the release date of Thalapathay Vijay's new film Vaarasudu (known as Varisu in Tamil) in recent days. Some reports had suggested that the Telugu release of the film would be delayed, but it has now been confirmed that the Tamil version of the film will be released on January 11.

The producer of Vaarasudu, Dil Raju, and the director, Vamshi Paidipally, held a press conference this morning in Hyderabad to address the recent uncertainty surrounding the release date of the film. As anticipated, they announced that the Telugu release of Vaarasudu has been postponed to January 14, three days after the Tamil version of the film is released.

During the press conference, Dil Raju explained that the decision to delay the release of Vaarasudu in Telugu was made to allow for a larger number of theaters to show the films of other popular actors, Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna, specifically Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy.

The postponement of Vaarasudu has resulted in an increased number of theaters being made available for the films of Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna, Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy, for a period of two days.

Vaarasudu stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, with Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Sangeetha, Jayasudha, and Kick Syam in supporting roles. The film's music was composed by Thaman.
