The Sankranti season next week is all set to witness a big fight at the box office of Tollywood with the release of Chiru’s ‘Valteru Veerayya’ and Balakrishna’s ‘Veerasimha Reddy’. The pre-release event of Chiru’s film was held in Vizag yesterday. It is indeed a record for Mythri Movie Makers to not only produce both films at a time, but also release them almost within two days. Chiru lauded the banner for this risk and also wished success for Balayya’s film, adding that both movies should become super hits for this season.

Speaking About Ravi Teja, Chiru revealed a surprising thing saying that Ravi Teja shared screen space with him in his Hindi film ‘Aaj ka Gundaraaj’ in early 90s. He also praised him saying that he was raised in Mumbai and is quite fluent in Hindi and he is not just the Vijayawada accent guy as everyone knows. He also added that Ravi Teja’s style of satire is awesome and the scenes in their combination in this film will be its highlight and praised director Bobby for not letting their expectations down.

Chiru expressed that wherever Ravi Teja enters, the film will go to a next level and he has done full justice to the role and without him that character cannot be justified by anyone. He added that it is only him and Ravi Teja who are doing back-to-back films currently in Tollywood.

Shruthi Hassan couldn’t attend the event due to ill health and Chiru mentioned this, praising her professionalism and how she performed really well even at sub zero temperatures abroad for dance sequences. Chiru shared his emotional journey with director Babi and expressed his gratitude to all the technicians who worked for this film.

Speaking about his bond with Vizag, Chiranjeevi shared that he has a special affection and affinity for this city and promised that he will spend the rest of his life here. He raised curiosity among the audiences, saying they are all set for a goosebump treat when they visit theatres to watch this film. There was all around applause for Chiru’s touching speech and the manner in which he humbly praised all others who are part of this film. Director Bobby shared that despite other speeches, it is Chiru's speech which is the highlight and that’s why there can only be ‘one megastar’.
