'MaayaOne' is one of the upcoming movies of actor Sundeep Kishan, who was seen recently in 'Ooru Peru Bhairavakona'. Touted to be a sequel to 'Maayavan' (2017), the film's Teaser is out.
Starring Aakanksha Ranjan Kapoor in a pivotal role, the sci-fi action adventure features the theme of transferring brain powers. From the Teaser, nothing much can be made about the nature of the lead actor's character or that of the antagonist. "A world where Science tries to take over Humanity. A Common Man Vs Super Villain Epic Sci-fi Action Adventure," the makers wrote, plugging the Teaser. On the face of it, the theme of commoner vs super-villain is also reminiscent of the recent 'HanuMan', the Sankranthi blockbuster.
Produced by Rambrahmam Sunkara of AK Entertainments, the ambitious project is presented by Adventures International. Its cinematography is by Karthik K Thillai and music is by Santhosh Narayanan (who is currently also doing Prabhas' 'Kalki 2898 AD', another sci-fi film).
Neil Nitin Mukesh of 'Saaho' fame, Kathryn Davison, Prudhvi Raj, Babloo Prithveeraj (seen last year in 'Animal'), Murali Sharma, Anish Kuruvilla, Muralidhar Goud, and Satya Prakash are playing different roles.
