'Preminchoddu' to be released on THIS date

Usually, the titles of films ask youngsters to embrace enduring romantic relationships. For a change, here is a title that wants to be a cautionale tale. 'Preminchoddu', fronted by Anuroop Reddy, Deva Malisetty, Saarika, and Manasa, is the one. Produced by Sirin SriRam Cafe's Sirin Sriram (who is also the film's director), its story takes place in a slum. The director-producer has also written and edited the movie.

It will hit the screens on June 7 in five languages. It is ambitious that the film is going to be released not only in Telugu but also in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.

In a statement, the makers said that the film's story delves into the profound difference between love and infatuation. While the former is pure, the latter is transient in nature. Those who don't understand the distinction end up subjecting themselves to unwarranted complications in life.

Yashwanth Pendyala, Santoshi Taalla, Sonali Garje, Lahari Juluri, Sraddha Sai, Valli Sri Gayatri, and Lakshmikanth Deva are playing different roles. The music and background score are by Chaitanya Sravanthi and Kamran, respectively. Harsha Kodali is the cinematographer. The screenplay has been written by the director in collaboration with Rahul Raaj Vanam.
