Allari Naresh's 'Aa Okkati Adakku' will overcome election fever: Makers

Actor Allari Naresh's next is a family comedy entertainer titled 'Aa Okkati Adakku'. Asian Suresh Entertainment LLP, one of the leading distribution houses, has acquired the theatrical rights to the film for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It will be a May 3rd release.

The film's trailer launch event was held on Monday in the presence of Natural Star Nani as the chief guest. Naresh described the 'Dasara' actor as someone who is as close as a family member. On the occasion, the actor said that doing a comedy film is like the SRH team playing an IPL match at Uppal Stadium. The hero made sure to say that 'AOA' is not entirely a laugh riot but has a proper emotional and dramatic core. The state of mind of the family members of unmarried men and women has been captured by the film. Writer Abburi Ravi, too, iterated the same. "We haven't designed the film as a satire," Ravi added.

Actor Nani said, "This is the first time that Naresh invited me to an event related to his film. I can sense that 'AOA' means a lot to him. It was I who prodded him to take a break from comedies and try other genres. Looking at the trailer for 'AOA', I have realized that I have been missing his comedy. The basic idea of 'AOA' is relatable."

Producer Rajiv Chilaka expressed his confidence in the film's ability to overcome the election fever. "Just because there are political rallies and all, it doesn't mean that people are not in the mood to watch movies.

The film's music has been done by Gopi Sundar. Vennela Kishore, Jamie Lever, Viva Harsha, Ariyana Glory and others will be seen in the entertainer. Directed by Malli Ankam, its heroine is Faria Abdullah of 'Jathi Ratnalu' fame.
