Actor Prabhas has extended his financial support by donating Rs 35 lakh to the Telugu Film Directors Association. Director's Day will be held at the LB Stadium in Hyderabad on May 4. Director Maruthi shared the news about the donation at the Day's curtain-raiser event on Monday. In the past, Prabhas has made donations on different occasions, including during Covid-19.
The donation has been received with thanks by the Association. Maruthi, who is directing Prabhas' 'The Raja Saab', thanked the pan-Indian action star for the contribution. The curtain-raiser event was also attended by the likes of Sukumar, Harish Shankar, Anil Ravipudi, Boyapati Srinu, Koratala Siva, VN Aditya, Bobby Kolli, Shiva Nirvana, Buchi Babu Sana, Nandini Reddy, KV Anudeep, Sai Rajesh, Vassishta, Sailesh Kolanu, Sriram Adittya, and others.
Prabhas awaits the release of 'Kalki 2898 AD' before any other film. The pan-Indian sci-fi mythological epic drama might hit the screens in June or July. He will shoot for Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Spirit' from December this year.
