On the occasion of Sri Rama Navami today, budding producer Venu Donepudi announced his second project on Chitralayam Studios. 'Journey To Ayodhya' is only its working title and it is going to be a pan-Indian project. Its final title will be revealed later.
'Manasantha Nuvve' fame VN Aditya is providing the story. As the content of the announcement poster and the working title make it clear, the film's story is based on the Ramayana. "A team is currently performing recce at the holy town of Ayodhya and other places to finalize locations under the aegis of Aditya. Pre-production works are going on at a rapid pace," the makers said. For now, the name of the director hasn't been announced.
"We are glad that Thammareddy Bharadwaja is supervising the production works. We are going to mount the film on international standards," Venu Donepudi said.
Before the release of this movie, Chitralayam Studios will see the release of Gopichand's 'Viswam' in theatres. The prestigious project, directed by Sreenu Vaitla, has been produced in collaboration with People Media Factory.
