'Premalu', the Mollywood blockbuster, has been streaming in Telugu on Aha since Friday. Disney Plus Hotstar is streaming the sought-after movie in Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi. Starring Naslen K. Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju in lead roles, it is directed by Girish AD.
Netizens are going gaga over the rom-com. "Repeat value movie. One-liners and meta-references worked well. The humour quotient is intact even in the Telugu-dubbed version," a Twitter user wrote. Movie lovers are talking about the chemistry between the lead pair and the situational humour that steers clear of vulgarity.
The film is produced by Bhavana Studios, a banner backed by Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan and Syam Pushkaran. It stars Althaf Salim, Shyam Mohan M, Akhila Bhargavan, Meenakshi Raveendran, Sangeeth Prathap and Shameer Khan in key roles.
The screenplay is written by Girish AD and Kiran Josey. The songs of the film are composed by Vishnu Vijay. Ajmal Sabu handled the cinematography, and the editing was done by Akash Joseph Varghese. The Telugu version's dialogues are written by Aditya Hasan of blockbuster #90's web series fame.
