Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi has been roped in for a key role in Adivi Sesh's 'G2'. As sequels go, this film forms a major addition to the Goodachari spy universe. Emraan landing this project is a huge boost for him.
Adivi Sesh is happy with the inclusion of the Bollywood actor. "I am thrilled to have Emraan on board for our film. His presence will undoubtedly bring a new dimension to the film," he wrote on social media. On his part, Emraan said that it is "truly exciting" to be doing the film. "The script is compelling, and I look forward to being part of this spy thriller," he further wrote.
Prolific producer TG Vishwa Prasad stated that Emraan joining the cast of the film has only raised the stakes. "His talent aligns perfectly with the vision we have for this project. Fans can expect a cinematic spectacle like never before," the head of People Media Factory said in a statement put out by his publicist.
Abhishek Agarwal, another producer, said that it is wonderful to have Emraan coming on board. "His stature and acting prowess will completely justify the weight of the character. The most awaited spy franchise gets more exciting with his addition to the team," the producer of hits like 'Karthikeya 2' said.
Starring Banita Sandhu as the female lead, the spy thriller is also produced by AK Entertainments. The film is directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi.
