'Thandel', written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti, will be a late-2024 release. Presented by Allu Aravind and bankrolled by Bunny Vasu on Geetha Arts, the film's key schedule was recently completed in a "beautiful scenic village".
According to the creators, the schedule primarily involved the participation of the main cast, focusing on scenes set in ports. The working stills shared by the creators depict the lead pair in what is described as "rustic avatars."
The lead actor from 'Love Story' has undergone a transformative makeover, showcasing a never-seen-before rough and ready look. The makers added that the actor will be delivering dialogues in the distinctive Srikakulam slang during the film. Sai Pallavi will be seen in a homely look.
With music by Devi Sri Prasad, the film has cinematography by Shamdat of 'Virupaksha' fame. Edited by Navin Nooli, its story has been written by Kartheek Theeda. The art direction is by Srinagendra Tangala.
The film's first glimpse was released in the first week of January.
