Acclaimed director Sekhar Kammula is currently doing a film with Tamil actor Dhanush and 'Naa Saami Ranga' actor Akkineni Nagarjuna. Produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, the film went on the floors recently.
The news is that Kammula and Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP have joined hands once again even before the release of Dhanush-Nag's movie. "We have collaborated for a larger-than-life film whose pre-production works are presently underway," the makers today said.
Since this is a high-stakes subject, the casting is expected to be cool. Kammula working with seasoned artists from multiple languages is something movie fans will love to see. The use of the term 'magnum opus' makes it all the more interesting.
It was for the Naga Chaitanya-Sai Pallavi movie 'Love Story' that Kammula and the production house first joined hands in 2020. The film was released in theatres in 2022. Today's announcement is their third film together. The big-scale movie will be mounted on a lavish scale. Kammula is associated with the film not only as a director but also on the production side through his Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd.
