'Miss Perfect', Disney Plus Hotstar's upcoming web Original, is set to stream from February 2. Directed by Vishvak Khanderao, the web film is led by Abijeet Duddala and Lavanya Tripathi. Abhignya Vuthaluru, Harsha Vardhan and Jhansi are playing other important roles. Annapurna Studios' Supriya Yarlagadda has produced the show.
In his latest interview, Abijeet suggests that 'Miss Perfect' might be his first attempt at situational comedy. "This is not a laugh-out-loud comedy. This is a breezy, easy-going comedy. Don't expect to do ROFLs while watching it! Some dialogues don't land the first time you watch it. We are hoping that people will rewind and rewatch to get the point of some dialogues. Compared to the show, the posters we have released seem over-the-top. The tone of the show is unlike the posters," Abijeet says.
The actor, who calls himself extremely choosy both in his professional and personal life, adds that he regards Lavanya Tripathi as a senior. "She has done far more work than I have since our debut around the same time. My dad was particular that I do 'Miss Perfect' mainly because Lavanya is a lead," Abijeet says.
"I don't become a part of any project unless I believe in the vision of the director. If a project flops, relationships get strained. That's why I make my moves thoughtfully. Director Vishvak's sensibilities in 'Skylab' were evident. I am in sync with them," Abijeet says.
The cinematography of 'Miss Perfect' is by Aditya Javvadi. Raviteja Girijala and Prashanth R Vihari are its editor and music director, respectively.
