Rebel Star Prabhas is gearing up to charm audiences once again by collaborating with director Maruthi for an upcoming project. Marking the Sankranthi season today, the makers unveiled its title 'The Raja Saab' is the name. A romantic horror entertainer produced by People Media Factory, the film's release date is not yet firmed up.
The film's digital cutout was unveiled in Prabhas' hometown, Bhimavaram, on Monday. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad, 'The Raja Saab' will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, much like Prabhas' all movies since 'Baahubali: The Beginning'. The poster features Prabhas wearing a lungi. His is a fun-loving, carefree, romantic role in the movie.
"Maruthi is credited for superhits like family entertainer ‘Prati Roju Pandage’, the first ever Telugu horror comedy ‘Prema Katha Chitram’, and romantic comedy ‘Mahanubhavudu’ amongst many others. 'The Raja Saab' will add a new feather to his cap," the makers said.
Composer Thaman S is crafting the film's music. The cinematography is led by Karthik Palani of the Tamil hit 'Varisu's fame. The VFX is led by Kamal Kannan of 'Magadheera' and 'Baahubali' fame. The fights are by King Solomon. Rajeevan is the production designer.
