Tamil actor Dhanush’s pan-Indian film 'Captain Miller', directed by Arun Matheswaran, will hit the screens in Telugu on January 25. The date was announced today by two prominent distribution sector players.
Asian Multiplexes Pvt Ltd and Suresh Productions have bought the Telugu rights to 'Captain Miller' for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The release is going to be prominent. Priyanka Mohan, Sundeep Kishan, and Dr Shiva Rajkumar are seen in important roles.
"'Captain Miller' is a periodic action drama set in the pre-independence era and it will appeal to the audience of all age groups," the makers said. The high-budget entertainer is presented by TG Thyagarajan of Sathya Jyothi Films and produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan.
The music is by GV Prakash Kumar. Madhan Karky, who worked for films like the 'Baahubali' franchise, 'RRR', and 'Pushpa', has penned dialogues for the original version.
Netizens who have watched the Tamil version today said that the film's conflict plot points are solid. They also described Dhanush's avatar as never seen before.
