'Guntur Kaaram': Ticket rate hikes, six shows, 1 am shows!

'Guntur Kaaram' is up for a massive opening this January 12 (Friday). On Tuesday, the Telangana government granted two special shows for the film until January 18.

Six shows per day can be held in Telangana, starting at 4 am. The administration has permitted a hike of Rs 65 on each ticket for single screens. Muliplexes can go for a hike of Rs 100 Cr. The decision has been taken in view of the film's craze.

Besides, on the release date (January 12), special shows in more than 20 theatres have been permitted from 1 am in Telangana, particularly Hyderabad. Among them are the Kukatpally theatres in the city.

Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the Haarika & Hassine Creations production has music by Thaman. In a recent interview, the makers claimed that the collections will be stunning. "By the end of the film's theatrical run, I am expecting the BO figures to settle somewhere near SS Rajamouli's movies," producer S Naga Vamsi said.

The film's trailer was released on Sunday. The traction gained by the trailer is fabulous, the makers said.
