Mani Sharma makes frank comments about low quality of music

In a recent interview, Mani Sharma expressed his dissatisfaction with the current state of music in contemporary commercial films. The composer of 'iSmart Shankar' remarked that his favorite songs nowadays belong to lesser-known, smaller movies.

Mani Sharma also conveyed his discontent with the trend of shorter song lengths in current times, implying that such brevity reflects a lack of creativity. According to him, these succinct songs often lack substantial content and depth.

The prominent composer, highly sought after for superstar movies in the 2000s, expressed his view that contemporary songs have a shorter shelf life. According to Mani Sharma, these songs lack the enduring quality that allows listeners to carry them with them and enjoy them over an extended period.

During the interview, Mani Sharma also voiced criticism regarding the obsession with Sid Sriram, noting that his vocal expression lacks range. Using the platform to share his view, Sharma suggested that major stars should diversify and engage with multiple music directors.
