Victory Venkatesh’s milestone 75th film 'Saindhav' is set to hit the screens on January 13. Director Sailesh Kolanu unveiled the film's trailer today.
The trailer effectively establishes the emotional bond between a father (Venkatesh) and his illness-stricken daughter (Baby Sara). The girl is diagnosed with a rare disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy. The injection vial to treat her costs Rs 17 Cr (this is for real, as a few rare medical instances have shown).
The 'Drishyam' actor, playing a solid action role, decides to revisit his old friends and opponents. In his past, characters like Arya were prominent. He locks horns with Nawazuddin Siddiqui's villain character.
Director Sailesh Kolanu's treatment is robust. He recently said that he doesn't have to worry about the result of the film this Sankranthi. Co-starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Arya, Shraddha Srinath, Ruhani Sharma, Andrea Jeremiah, Sara, and Jayaprakash. Produced by Niharika Entertainment, the film has music by Santosh Narayanan.
The trailer is surprisingly intense and vibrant. The 'HIT' and 'HIT 2' director is expected to score his first hit with a big star.
