'Devil - The British Secret Agent' is led by Nandamuri Kalyanram. The 'Amigos' actor plays a stoic British loyalist with an agenda hidden from plain sight. Producer Abhishek Nama of Abhishek Pictures is bankrolling this period thriller, besides directing it. The film's trailer was out recently.
The news is that Dil Raju has acquired the release rights to the period spy thriller. He will be releasing 'Devil' in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on December 29 in a big way.
Sri Venkateswara Creations backing 'Devil' means that it will get a higher number of theatres than the other two releases of the week: People Media Factory's 'Bubblegum' and Ram Gopal Varma's 'Vyooham'. Moreover, the release will be smooth even if 'Salaar' becomes a blockbuster. 'Salaar', starring Prabhas, is slated to hit the screens on December 22. There is just a week's gap between Prabhas' actioner and 'Devil'.
Soundar S Rajan's grand visuals, Gandhi Nadikudikar's art direction, Srikanth Vissa's story, screenplay and dialogues, Harshavardhan Rameshawar's score and Vijay Rathinam's sound design are among the aspects highlighted by 'Devil' makers Abhishek Pictures. Samyuktha Menon of 'Virupaksha', 'SIR' fame is playing the male lead's love interest.
