Roshan Kanakala's debut movie Bubblegum is slated to hit the screens on December 29. The hero plays a DJ who yearns to change the music scene once he finds an encouraging audience. When he falls in love with a rich girl played by Maanasa Choudhary, least does he realize that he is going to lose his marbles once a heartbreak follows.
A coming-of-age rom-com that is more than a collection of its intimate moments, the film co-stars Harsha Chemudu, Kiran Macha, Anannyaa Akulaa, Harshvardhan, Anu Hasan, Chaitu Jonnalagadda, and Bindu Chandramouli. At the trailer launch event of the movie today, veteran filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao said that the chemistry between Roshan and Maanasa is sparkling. "So also the physics," he quipped.
Written and directed by Ravikanth Perepu, the film has its story also written by Vishnu Kondur and Seri-Ganni. Produced by Maheshwari Movies and People Media Factory, its music is by Sricharan Pakala.
Suresh Ragutu's cinematography is enhanced by the effective and smart use of the lighting. Vithal Kosanam's art direction is realistic. Vamsi Krishna is the film's screenplay consultant.
The film will be locking horns with Nandamuri Kalyanram's 'Devil' and Ram Gopal Varma-directed 'Vyooham'.
