Shivani Rajasekhar has acted in movies like 'Adbhutham' and 'WWW', streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar and SonyLIV, respectively. This week's release, 'Kota Bommali PS', has her in the role of a constable.
In her latest interview, Shivani revealed that she was offered 'Uppena' (2021) by director Buchi Babu Sana. Had she done that film, she would have become a star heroine overnight. So, why did she not do the Mythri Movie Makers product?
"I was offered a draft script to read. In that draft, I found a few intimate and bold scenes that were not amenable to my preference. That's why I rejected the movie," Shivani said.
Buchi Babu Sana toned down the boldness factor later. Krithi Shetty did the film and scored a blockbuster. The film marked the debut of Krithi and Panja Vaishnav Tej. The Rs 100 Cr grosser was powered by Devi Sri Prasad's music.
Shivani's sister, Shivathmika Rajasekhar, is also a starlet. The daughters of the Rajasekhar-Jeevitha duo have been choosy.
