Is Naga Vamsi becoming Tollywood's most controversial producer?

Suryadevara Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments has had a series of releases in theatres in the post-pandemic era. Mahesh Babu's 'Guntur Kaaram' is his next big theatrical release. The film is produced by Haarika & Hassine Creations, by his 'babai' China Babu.

Of late, the young producer of hits like 'Jersey', 'SIR', 'DJ Tillu' and 'Bheemla Nayak' has started to give sound bytes that go viral on social media. Recently, he stated that he didn't like 'Leo' much. Interestingly, the Thalapathy Vijay-starrer was presented in Telugu by Naga Vamsi himself!

Naga Vamsi also commented that he found 'Sapta Saagaralu Dhaati' (both Side A and Side B) quite depressing. "I didn't watch Side B," he added. It is rare that a producer is vociferous against an acclaimed film.

On another occasion, Naga Vamsi proudly remarked that 'Guntur Kaaram' is the most-preferred Sankranthi 2024 viewing for the audience. "When I am making the most-preferred movie, why would I sit across the table and negotiate with other producers? It is for them to come and negotiate with me (if they see any challenge from my movie and want to minimize the risk)," he said.

Naga Vamsi awaits the release of 'Tillu Square', 'Gangs Of Godavari' and a few other movies in 2024.
