Varun Tej and his long-time girlfriend Lavanya Tripathi recently got married. Their wedding was held in Italy. Only a few pics from the intimate affair have surfaced on the Internet. Most of them were clicked by guests.
Several media reports today stated that the curated wedding, with a run-time of 90 minutes, will be streamed as a wedding documentary on Netflix. Is there an iota of truth in this? The answer is no. "The ongoing speculations around the OTT rights are completely baseless and untrue. Requesting everyone not to believe in such rumours and spread them," the newly-wed couple's team today communicated officially.
Netflix wouldn't show any interest in the wedding of couples with no national-level popularity. Only a few Bollywood star couples enjoy a pan-India popularity. Beyond that, wedding documentaries are a non-starter in India.
On the work front, Varun Tej's 'Operation Valentine' will hit the screens on December 8. Lavanya will be taking a sabbatical from acting for some months.
