Anasuya Bharadwaj ready to play a grandmother!

There was a time when Anasuya Bharadwaj was reluctant to play a mother on screen. She was offered the role of a mother to actress Nidhhi Agerwal in a film. The renowned TV personality rejected the role.

Since 'Rangasthalam' (not because of that movie), though, her mindset has seen a turnaround. "I was just 32 when I was offered the mother's role. I felt I shouldn't play such a character at a young age. I am now comfortable in that space. I can play even a grandmother," Anasuya said in her latest interview.

She also revealed that she has missed out on some films because she doesn't party in the evenings with film colleagues.

Anasuya was most recently seen in 'Peddha Kapu'. The Srikanth Addala directorial starred Virrat Karna as the hero. Anasuya played a stealthy protagonist in that action drama. The actress was also seen in films like 'Vimanam' in recent months.

She will be seen in 'Pushpa 2' next. In her latest interview, Anasuya said that she is extremely proud of Allu Arjun for securing the National Award in the Best Actor category.
