Can Sampoornesh Babu's career improve with 'Martin Luther King'?

Sampoornesh Babu's 'Martin Luther King' will be released on 400 screens across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on October 27. Starting October 9, the film's core cast and crew members started touring different cities for paid premiers.

Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Nellore, Kurnool, and Hyderabad are where the shows have been held. Despite major Dasara releases like 'Bhagavanth Kesari' and 'Tiger Nageswara Rao', paid premieres in Telangana have been planned from October 19.

While the film co-stars the dependable VK Naresh and the reasonably talented Sampoornesh, some factors are working as a minus. For one, this is a remake with Tamil sensibilities. For another, the comedy doesn't seem to be strong.

Coming with a political backdrop, this one is a make-or-break movie for the 'Hridaya Kaleyam' actor.

Produced by YNOT Studios and Reliance Entertainment, AP International will be the distribution partner for overseas territories. Directed by Puja Kolluru, the film's screenplay and dialogues have been written by Venkatesh Maha, who is an overrated talent. Maha has directed 'Care Of Kancharapalem', the only straight film in his career.
