Films, no matter big or small, need to be treated equally and that is a rule. The Central Board for Film Certification (CBFC) needs to be fair in the way it gives rating for different films and usually in small movies, even for a certain navel display of heroine, they give ‘A’ rating and not ‘U’ or ‘U/A’.

The recently released Veerasimha Reddy of Nandamuri Balakrishna got a U/A rating which has surprised neutral film goers. The movie has many cuss words, violent scenes involving murders and attacks as well as one rape scene where a wife gets molested in front of the husband.

The otherwise strict censor board giving a U/A rating for this film of Nandamuri Balakrishna has definitely surprised many. The scenes in the film say otherwise and one wonders if there are any expectations being made for certain big budget flicks with influential stars.
