When we take the name of concept director Sukumar the only thing that comes to mind is that he is a good director and a writer. Some might also add that all his movies always carry some or the other concept and the logic quotient is extremely high in his movies with deep focus on human psychology. Even the look of Sukumar is so simple that one would consider him boy next door types.
However, there is an unknown side that most do not know. As such, star directors find it extremely hard to manage their time and when they take up a project, they spend years together on it. The likes of the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli, the showman of the south Shankar are known for the amount of years they spend in shaping up their movies.
However, things work differently with Sukumar. Despite the fact that he is a star director, somehow Sukumar manages to write stories even today not just for his own projects but also for other heroes. Added to that, he has his own production house Sukumar Writings wherein he has been penning stories. The interesting bit is, he throws an idea to his team of writers and when they come up with the draft to a level, he gets involved and takes it to a completely different level.
And there's more, if Sukumar identifies a talented individual in his team, he gives them a project to direct and produce it. Interestingly, three hits came with the collaboration of Sukumar Writings and the likes of Naga Chaitanya, Raj Tharun and Nikhil managed to bounce back with these successes. The big mystery is, when Sukumar is doing a pan India project like 'Pushpa 2' from where is he getting time to write scripts, offer creative ideas and also write stories for other heroes.
