It has been quite a while since the movie 'Project K' has been in discussion but no concrete update has come. Given the fact that it has young rebel star Prabhas in the lead with the burgundy eyed beauty Deepika Padukone as the leading lady, the craze and expectations are high. While cine buffs were snooping around for some inside news, they were not successful.
However, here is one update that is not only interesting but a bit shocking. As such, the film happens to be a futuristic genre with science fiction elements in it. But director Nag Ashwin is coming up with a twist. It is heard that he is designing characters in such a way that one can relate to the characters of Mahabharata. It is also heard that Prabhas would be seen as a superhero and a large part of the film is dependent on heavy visual effects and graphics.
Last but not the least, reports reveal the backdrop of the film would be during the world war – 3 era. Living legend Amitabh Bachchan is also playing an important role in this one. Nag Ashwin had once mentioned that even the cars that one is going to see on the silver screen are going to be quite futuristic. Given all these factors, a strict vigilance is being kept on the proceedings to ensure no leakage happens.
For now, many are trying to figure out what is going to be the connection of the great epic Mahabharata with a futuristic movie and how can the link be established. If Nag Ashwin is able to pull this off convincingly it is going to be a mind-blowing treat for sure. Already, there are reports that this film is being made at a very expensive budget and it would take a global reach to ensure the business happens properly.
