Veteran actor Ashish Vidyarthi, known for films like Ala Modalaindi, Pokiri, Annavaram, Athithi, Tulasi, and more and who has gained a fan base for himself not just in the Telugu speaking community but also across the country, has tied the knot again at the age of 60 to Assam-based fashion entrepreneur Rupali Barua.
He walked the seven steps in Kolkata on Thursday.
"At this stage of my life, getting married to Rupali is an extraordinary feeling. We had a court marriage in the morning, followed by a get-together in the evening," said the actor.
Social media is flooded with images from his wedding. The bride and groom are seen in the image wearing traditional attire. The bride wore a traditional Assamese saree, while Ashish donned a traditional mundu for the wedding, a rupa.
He was earlier married to the daughter of yesteryear actress Shakuntala Barua, Rajoshi Barua. They gave birth to a son. Later, the couple called it quits, and the reasons for the divorce were not revealed.
