ChatGPT has been accused of Wokism. In the past, it has boldly made jokes about certain religions and religious masters but has refused to do so about other religions and founders.
In the latest instance, the AI-powered chatbot has refused to joke about women while happily cracking a joke about men. "Why don't scientists trust atoms? Because they make up everything, just like men and their excuses," ChatGPT wrote when a user asked it to write a joke about men.
But the same chatbot answered it can't generate jokes that perpetuate negative stereotypes as an AI language model when it was asked to write a joke about women. It refused to "offend" any particular group, including women. "My programming is based on promoting respect and empathy towards all," ChatGPT wrote.
This display of "double standards" is making many men describe ChatGPT as sexist.
