Andhra Pradesh BJP seems to be heading the same way as Telangana Congress very soon. The Pro-TDP and anti-TDP groups are all set to fight a final battle and which way the party tilts, it hints at what alliances or affiliations one can expect for next elections in the state.
Current president Somu Veerraju is upset at how Kanna Lakshmi Narayana is trading barbs at him regarding the appointment of new district chiefs. Somu replaced his loyalists in place of those who were appointed during Kanna’s tenure. Moreover, Kanna is upset that Somu is not best representing the interests of AP.
At the same time, there are reports that Kanna is eyeing to shift to TDP or Jana Sena and he may leave BJP soon. Hence, the battle of political upmanship is happening between both of them and the fall out may be bitter for BJP in front of AP people.
