The United States is all set to commence a new trial run for its new version of naturalization test, making the way to obtain US citizenship more hassle-free and much more accessible for most of the eligible candidates. The naturalization test of the USA usually has four components, namely reading, civics, writing, as well as the ability to speak English.

While the reading and writing portions taken as part of the existing naturalization test are standard, the new version is expected to be updated in the civics component that also includes few changes in terms of the content. According to reports, a newly created English-speaking component would also become a standard.

According to USCIS Director Ur M. Jaddou, they welcome inputs from all the stakeholders who understand this important process, in an effort for improving and updating the naturalization test, so that it is consistent with the current industry testing standards.

This trial will initially involve volunteers, and it will be organized for a five-month period. The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the official immigration agency of the government, is seeking the active participation of about 1,500 people who are enrolled currently in adult education classes to take the latest trial test.
