Stand-up comedian triggers an online war between doctors

Do doctors have differences among themselves? We know actors like to pick up quarrels behind the scenes and even in front of the camera. We know politicians bicker and abuse each other. We know law boards, journalists, and employees' unions are divided. How about the noble profession of medicine? Do doctors have differences at all?

Turns out that doctors are not immune to flashing their egos. They are not averse to trolling and getting trolled. A stand-up comedian recently described Radiologists as "glorified photographers" who merely take X-Rays. Actually, that is not the case. However, the joke has gone out of control now.

Some doctors (who are obviously not Radiologists) shared the video. This offended Radiologists on Twitter. A doctor wrote, "How can doctors themselves share such juvenile bunkum about fellow doctors?"

Dr Shreeraj Talwadekar reminded the medical profession that Gastroenterologists, Pathologists and Microbiologists are mockingly called "Sandaas ke doctors" by medicos themselves. This is an inside joke we didn't know of until now.

Another doctor wrote, "When you all mock other branches, then outraging over others mocking you is childish." One thing has been confirmed by all this. Doctors have a good laugh at the expense of their colleagues.
